 Let's see, what shall I write now?               With Belana and Kira in front of my                 Beware or I'll cast a spell on you:

                                                                         small butterfly garden                                    You will read my books!                 

   Belana, age 15 and now quite deaf,                                          Kira is a rescue dog, age and birth date unknown. It is known

          but otherwise doing well                                                    that she'd been badly abused and as a result is very timid. She's

                                                                                                   learning to trust people and is happy to have toys to play with

                                                                                                   for the first time. She carries them everywhere and takes them

                                                                                                   to bed with her at night.

A sometime hobby of mine is raising monarch butterflies. Here you see a pupa, a newly emerged butterfly with several empty chrysalises, and a butterfly with wings outspread, ready for its first flight.
