But a terrible discovery drives her from that place of safety and takes her to the Patrol Headquarters in a scheme to free her foster father. The scheme backfires, India is captured by the Patrol, and events are set in motion that will change not only her life but the lives of her mother, her sisters China and Meri, Paolo, and her new friend, K.T. The Viseg, too, must change if India is to survive.
